According to Philippine Statistics Authority recent report, there was an estimated 93.4% of employment rate in the country.

However, there is contradicting statement from Associated Labor Unions-Trade Union Congress of the Philippines (ALU-TUCP).  They reported that almost one million students who graduated last year will face a bleak future.

According to ALU-TUCP spokesperson, Alan Tanjusay, their report doesn’t want to give any false hope; in prior to the old problems of fresh graduates, such as job-skill mismatch, wages, contractualization and unsafe workplaces.
